Description
We have much to learn from our interactions with all animals, yet the horse provides an unusual mirroring experience. In their natural environment, horses are vulnerable to predators. They rely heavily on their observations of the world around them and operate most comfortably in groups. If we slow down and listen they will give us powerful feedback about ourselves and the impact we have on others. Students will come away from their equine encounter with a new understanding of their communication strengths and opportunities for growth. Basic horsemanship as a metaphor for interpersonal dynamics will be explored in a safe, fun and hands-on context. No prior horse experience is needed.
