Description
Join the UofU's Entertainment Arts and Engineering Program this summer for a college-level course customized for high school students and condensed into three weeks. In this second week, continue to explore the concepts of 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and rendering, using some of the most advanced software in the industry such as Autodesk Maya and Adobe Photoshop. Meet with UofU students, faculty, and local professionals. Design and create your own 3D character or model from scratch with your work culminating in a character-based animation short. Leave with a poster of your 3D model that advertises your animation short. Students must have taken 3D Modeling Studio 1 (YETEC 128) to take this class.
