LLART 248 - Print to Wear - Linoleum Carving

Take linoleum cutting one step further as you learn the basics of carving linoleum for the purpose of printing on clothing. We will start by creating high contrast black and white images and learn the proper use of tools, simple registration methods and inking. We will then move on to using multiple colors and blocks. By the end of class you will have several printed variations of your own designs and a finished shirt. One shirt and all tools and materials are included in the special fee. Please bring any additional clean clothing you wish to print on. Class is limited to 8.
