Description
In this informal, yet extremely informative class students will learn the basics of roasting coffee as well as three ways to roast beans at home. We will go through basic green coffee information, species, varietals, regions, climate, etc. and then proceed to learn the roasting process. Students will learn the steps, chemistry, and external and internal changes that coffee beans undergo in the roasting transformation so they know how to roast great tasting coffee.
