Description
The third in a series, this course supports women's health, nurse practitioner students' progress towards the role of the safe beginning practitioner. Students will continue to integrate the philosophy and role of the nurse practitioner, application of didactic knowledge and use of clinical skills in the ambulatory settings with an emphasis on primary care and gynecology. Students will continue to refine their expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and development and implementation of a plan of care for women across the lifespan. They work under the supervision of preceptors. This is a Credit/No Credit course.
