Description
Prepare your parkas and gear up for some fun in this Awesome Arctic Adventure! This first week (39-001) of Club U's Arctic Adventure camps start off with learning about what wild life in the Wasatch do when the weather gets cold as we meet with some experts in the field. The following day, gear up with the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation for a snowshoe trek in the mountains where we will learn all about our watershed and what it means to live "downstream". On our final day, instead of strapping shoes on, we are kicking 'em loose when Club U blasts out of the cold and into Get Air trampoline gym! These camps will have a mix of sensational science and nature activities, not to mention all of your Club U friends! We can't wait to see you there! In our Exciting second week of Arctic Adventures (39-002) we are preparing for even more adventure! Get your notebooks out when the Utah Avalanche Center joins camp to explore the science behind how avalanches occur, how to survive, and how to locate a buried victim. Will you have what it takes to save SCIBO? The following day we will be heading into the mountains for a glide around the cross country skiing track! On our final day we will be rolling into the New Year with a trip to Classic Fun Center! The stage is set for great times... come say goodbye to 2015 with your friends from Club U!
