Description
This course provides an overview of the fundamental concepts of electrochemical science and an introduction to modern electroanalytical measurements. Approximately two thirds of the course is devoted to the basic principles underlying reactions at the at the electrode/electrolyte interface, including thermodynamics and kinetics of electron-transfer reactions, and interfacial structure; the remainder emphasizes methods and chemical applications.
