Description
Our National Parks are beautiful to look at, but there is more to them than scenic grandeur. Learn about the complexities, collaboration, and compromise inherent in their management. Evaluate current political, social, and economic issues and learn how to effectively engage in these issues as citizens, voters, land users, neighbors, or members of special interest groups. Learn about the legal framework for the established parks, public lands, and protected resources and the daily work and challenges of managing a park. Finally, gain the perspective of a stakeholder advocacy organization.
