Description
Meets with ETHNC 5628. This course examines the role of whiteness in cross-race classroom relationships, with a goal of fostering more productive dialogue and listening across races. Because the course assumes some previous study of diverse cultures and races, it is strongly recommended that students complete one or more courses on diversity before enrolling in this course. Building on studies of conflict and cooperation across race and ethnicity, the course will explore what productive cross-race communication in education entails.
