Description
The purpose of this class is to provide new knowledge and professional skills that will help students to work in international health promotion settings Students will be exposed to critical health problems and risks as well as health care solutions or evidence-based health interventions from a number of developing countries. Different university professors working in these countries will provide lectures on their work with governments and NGOs, CGOs, the United Nations, and WHO to improve health and wellness of citizens in these countries. In addition a number of the UU lecturers offer Study Abroad or internship course credits for working with them in international health.
