Description
This course provides an overview of descriptive, comparative and evaluative research methods as these apply to occupational therapy practice. Students will acquire practical skills for developing a literature review, choosing appropriate methods of inquiry, and incorporating research and its outcomes into clinical practice. Critical analysis of the professional literature, at the individual study, will serve as the basis for evidence-based practice, and the foundation for future clinic-based and independent research activity.
