Description
Using a developmental time frame this course will cover the occupations of human development from young adulthood to and including death. The course will provide opportunities for students to synthesize research, theory and practice of occupational therapy for individuals with disabilities or challenges to their occupational achievement. Personal, as well as, environmental adaptation principles will be covered. The course will also explore the application of wellness principles for these populations. The course will integrate societal and cultural influence, family or caregiver dynamics and influences. This course dovetails with OC TH 6240 and OC TH 6260.
