Developing and maintaining balance is a crucial element in helping to prevent or lessen the impact of a fall or other accident. A better understanding of our vestibular system (inner ear) and proprioception (knowing where our body is in space) can improve strength and balance. Learn a series of poses from Balance Yoga that can be easily done at home by yourself or a loved one. A yoga mat is recommended but not required, and no prior yoga experience is necessary. Please wear loose/comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.
