Description
Turkish cuisine reflects a rich historical and cultural heritage, is healthy, and a feast for all your senses. Locally grown ingredients, the palace kitchens of the Seljuk and Ottoman empires, and a population that is passionate about food are just some of the factors that give character to Turkish culinary culture. Students will have the opportunity to help create and enjoy authentic Turkish food including manti (a ravioli/dumpling), karniyarik (stuffed eggplant) and traditional baklava.
