Description
The most essential component of everyday life, breathing can be used to calm us down, focus our minds, and even "rev us up". This one night class will explore the mechanics of breathing through understanding the primary and secondary muscles, and the physiological process from inhale through exhale. We will learn to breathe by practicing how to more efficiently use these muscles, and how their manipulation can help us in our physical activities, meditation, or getting through a stressful life event. Several different types of breathing methods will be described and practiced.
