Description
Through this course, students will understand the developmental impact of trauma and adverse childhood events on children, adolescents and adults; the evidence base for protective factors and the building blocks for developmental resilience, the human response to danger and adaptation to threats to survival, including systems of meaning, physiological and behavioral responses and developmental deficits that emerge due to gaps in care and reliance on adaptations to threats of harm.
