This is a Hybrid course, which uses a mixture of online, face-to-face, and technology enhanced instruction. In this hybrid seminar, students will explore ways to apply W. Edwards Deming’s System of Profound Knowledge to improve organizational performance in the public and nonprofit sectors. They will engage in face-to-face and on-line project-based learning activities with board members from the W. Edwards Deming Institute and MPA faculties at the UofU and SUU. Class meetings will occur in BEH S 712 from 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. on the following Wednesdays: January 11, January 25, February 22, March 8, and April 5.There will also be a voluntary excursion the week of March 26-31. Exact date TBD. All-day Mini Deming Conference, Bryce Canyon.
