Description
This course covers some important topics in the empirical analysis of micro and macro data. We will discuss selected cross-section, panel data and time series and time series methods. Empirical studies in social sciences frequently use non-experimental data which makes it complicated to study relationships between variables and to evaluate effects of e.g., different programs or policies. We will study extensions and elaborations of the basic multivariate regression model to address this issue.
