Description
Most wine drinkers know about Champagne & other sparkling wines, but most don't know that the oldest sparkling wines were being made in the South of France 150 years before monks in Champagne came up with their concoction. Nowadays sparkling wines are made all over the world. Many are made using the Champagne method & many are made using new techniques. Join us & learn about real Champagne, Italian Prosecco, the famous Cremants from elsewhere in France & the succulent dessert 'frizzantes' from the Piedmont. Wines nicely paired with small, appropriate plates prepared by Chef Drew.
