Description
This is a Technical Art course that is project-based. The technical aspects of scanning props, facial motion, and full body scans using traditional modeling software to refine the scans into proper models, is the first part of the pipeline. Projects include several different rigging assignments including detailed humanoid and fantasy animals rigs. Then rigs are created that work with motion capture data. The student direct motion capture sessions, refine the data, and associate it with models. Then they employ the models and motion data into a game engine.
