Description
The purpose of this course is to assist pre-service teachers in learning about early reading development and practices. Major topics include: oral language, phonetic awareness, phonics, spelling, and fluency. Students will learn how to differentiate instruction and also how to assess, teach, and monitor growth to make instructional decisions.
