Description
This course provides a basis for understanding the pharmacokinetics and actions of specific drug groups commonly used in neonatal advanced nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on the pharmacological action of the drug, side effects, appropriate dosing, monitoring, drug interactions and guidelines for use. Legal and ethical considerations of prescriptive practice are also addressed.
