Description
The third in a series of clinical courses, this course supports the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner student's role as an independent practitioner. The student applies evidence based didactic knowledge and clinical skills in the supervised provision of health care. The student is continuing to refine differential diagnosis skill in the approach to episodic and chronic medical diagnoses. The student develops, implements and evaluates the plan of care under supervision of faculty/preceptors including management of chronic medical diagnoses Incorporation of health promotion concepts as well as interpretation of findings and laboratory results is expected.
