Description
This is the fifth of the six clinical courses in which the students will work with a preceptor in an acute health care setting. Under the supervision of clinical faculty and an onsite clinical preceptor, the student will demonstrate the beginning competence as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). The student will incorporate evidence based medicine and clinical skills while providing direct patients care who are either acute, chronic or critically ill. The student will participate in one of the LPQ areas to further enhance their learning while in the DNP program.
