Description
Do you have an idea for a novel, a memoir, or a film? This class will help you move from that idea to an approximately 10-page detailed outline that can be used to guide you through a step-by-step process to a finished piece of writing. Many people struggle with how to figure out what happens next when they're writing. Whether you're a beginner or just trying to learn how to plot better, this is the class for you. We'll talk about some of the psychology of writing, including how to keep your self-talk positive enough that you don't sabotage yourself when you have time to sit down and write, and what to expect in a first draft so that you don't get discouraged. We'll also talk about some basics for those new to the publishing world, like "The money flows to you."
