Description
This is one of the series of courses using an organ systems approach for the study of clinical science. This course focuses on the pediatric population with an emphasis on stages of development, anticipatory guidance, and medical conditions specific to this population. In addition, students study epidemiology, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and medical management of conditions affecting the eyes, ears, nose, and throat. Content synthesis is accomplished by integrating clinical cases with basic science and active learning modalities.
