PROEA 865 - Digital Communication Tools for Creative Professionals

Part of the Degree Plus Certificate Series, the goal of this certificate program is to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a career as a creative professional. Using the standard-setting Adobe suite of digital communication tools, students will investigate today's most popular digital tools including Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, and Dreamweaver. Additionally, students will be introduced to one of Adobe's newest products, Experience XD which focuses on user experience design. The certificate will incorporate Agile Scrum processes throughout the experience and focus on principles of Design Sprint in particular. Dreamweaver, Photoshop and InDesign will all be taught to the Adobe Certified Associate standards enabling students to immediately take the Associates exam for these prestigious industry credentials. To finish the certificate, students will complete a capstone project which will utilize the full certificate content. The results of this project will provide students with a tangible work product to show employers or others in their network.
