Description
This lecture and lab course explores the form and function of plants in relation to their environment. We cover the anatomy and development of plants in the context of photosynthetic physiology, mechanical support, and resource uptake and transport mechanisms. Adaptations to environmental conditions including drought, light, salinity, temperature, and flooded soils are emphasized. It is recommended that BIOL 2010 is completed prior to enrolling in this course.
