Description
Survey of women directors teaches the history, contributions, and the distinct perspective women directors bring to the medium. The class integrates these concepts with cultural, sociological, political, technological, and cinematic factors. Students will be exposed to how women directors write, edit, direct and produce some of the most unique, creative, and interesting films today. This is a lower division survey course with a focus on diversity, designed for the non-major as well as the film major.
