Description
The purpose of the course is to increase one's knowledge of performance-based assessment related to teaching Pre K-12 physical education. Students will focus on four primary themes as a theoretical basis for improving student assessment: a) Assessment drives instruction, b) Assessing content across the psychomotor, cognitive and affective domains of learning, c) Using assessment in ways in which allow students to apply information & perform competently, and d) Using a balanced approach when selecting assessment strategies.
