NUIP 6020 - Body Image and Eating Disorders in Special Populations

This course will focus on body image and eating disorder research for special populations (e.g.,athletes, gender, individuals with disabilities). Promoting healthy behaviors for diverse individuals and breaking stereotypes about eating disorders will be the primary goals of the course. Assessment, treatment and prevention strategies for working with these populations will be discussed.
