Prerequisites: Full major status in Occupational Therapy.
Description
This course will provide the opportunity to explore occupational therapy evaluation protocols and the skills used to assess individuals throughout the adult lifespan. Opportunities to develop result interpretation, clinical reasoning, and observation skills will be included in assignments. Students will begin to develop a portfolio with appropriate evaluations as a resource base for future practice. Assessments will be based on current theoretical models and evidence in occupational therapy.
