The science of human movement holds the key to a healthy life. Through lecture and movement participation, we will study the evolution of the concept of fitness, master the five fundamental movement patterns, understand strength and power, and see how proper movement leads to better quality of life. Students will learn how to make their training simple and effective. Course activities include both floor and standing exercises. Students must be comfortable getting up and down from the floor.
