Description
The course will expand on the background provided in Quantitative Population Heath Sciences I by providing an in-depth investigation of methods for the analysis of multi-level data. Topics will include the use of generalized estimating equations, as well as linear, generalized linear, and nonlinear mixed effects models to characterize variation in outcomes and predictor variables in the presence of clustering resulting from families, clinics, providers, hospitals, communities or other systems leading to correlations among outcome measurements.
