Description
Expressing emotion is vital to our mental health, but putting our feelings into words is often a daunting task. Instead of asking "What did I do today?" get to the root of what you're experiencing with visual journaling. This less-verbal method of communication can be a powerful way to capture and explore your everyday thoughts and feelings, especially those which might otherwise go unnoticed. You'll identify themes, experiment with supplies, and learn tricks and techniques for using various media in books while you practice exploring your daily life in a safe and supportive environment. Special fee is for materials including watercolor & acrylics, gel printing, collage, and found-objects. Students will purchase their own journals, guidance on which type to select will be provided in the first class.
