OSHER 261 - Connecting People to Nature

Learn and experience a few of the ways Tracy Aviary connects people to nature. Osher members will be introduced to the educational philosophy of the aviary and see how the staff utilizes different areas of it to provide the best facility for our birds and the general public. Members will also learn about our citizen science work and participate in a bird survey. Finally, members will learn how staff creates habitat within our landscapes, and will get dirty with a special, hands-on nature project.
