Description
Evidence-based design, design guidelines, form-based codes, life-cycle analysis, sustainability and resilience metrification, and architectural informatics all have arisen in recent contemporary architectural practice as indicators of emerging thought. As such, architect and their consultants increasingly employ a number of diverse research methods to explore and discover findings that potentially can inform the future direction of the built environment. Students in this course will learn how to conduct research that will enhance their capacity to not only pose a research question but also to answer it in a professionally credible manner.
