Description
This course will guide students through the process of formulating a research idea, developing Specific Aims and identifying appropriate methods. The course will also cover other important components of proposals for federal agencies and foundations such as descriptions of innovation and broader impacts. Budgeting research projects, approval processes, and the application process for NIH grants will also be covered. The final product will be a full proposal and associated materials needed for submission to NIH.
