Description
Have you ever watched a professional skier, dancer, soccer player, or any other athlete and wondered, how do they do that? Now you can find out! In this camp, you will discover how incredible the human body is by touching hearts, lungs, bones, and muscles. You will see how researchers and doctors measure a person's endurance, strength, and power by testing it on yourself and your classmates. You will learn how the brain develops new skills, and how computers can be used to track your body's movements. You will cook a delicious and nutritious meal, and test the nutrients that float in your blood. Gain a deeper understanding of health and human movement through this hands-on experience, and impress your friends with your knowledge of science and the human body. Co-sponsored with the College of Health.
