Description
This course gives an overview of the HIV/AIDS epidemic both in the USA and globally and examines its impact at the individual and public health level. Students will learn the biological, psycho-social and economic basis of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The course will also apply public health principles for implementing HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment projects, both in resource rich and resource limited settings.
