GLOBL 950 - Live, Learn, Grow II

The Live Learn Grow course is a first-year experience that is devoted to several major aims: first, to orient international students to the university, its surrounding area and the embedded national cultural context; second, to foster student success through active, learner-centered activities; and third, to develop skills and competences that will enable students to succeed beyond their first-year and beyond their time at the university. LLG II focuses on 1) developing the personal qualities of students that will facilitate their success in various interpersonal dynamics; 2) highlighting effective academic skills and academic integrity; and 3) orienting students to the wider community in which the university is located.
