This course provides a capstone experience for students pursuing a human factors certificate. Students conduct an independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member. The project allows them to demonstrate their ability to conduct sound and important Human Factors research as a measure of their knowledge of the field. Students produce a written report of the project using the formal guidelines of either the American Psychological Association for a journal article or the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society for a conference proceedings.
