Description
The theory and practice of negotiation and alternative dispute resolution ("A.D.R."). Covers the major forms of A.D.R., including negotiation, mediation, binding and non-binding arbitration, early neutral evaluation, and mini-trials. Substantial focus on developing the skills of negotiation and mediation through mock exercises. RELATED CLINIC: Students may enroll in the Mediation Clinic or a Civil Clinic placement in which negotiation is the focus.
