Description
The constitutional history of the United States is critical to understanding and influencing the constitutional future of the United States, and is the subject matter of this course. Placing the Constitution of the United States in the context of global patterns is another step for which we may have time for only a brief glance or two. Our parade through U.S. history will break into six time sequences, each with its landmark events and Supreme Court opinions, and each with a hint to the future from the Magna Carta to Watergate.
