Description
Cost-effectiveness analysis focuses on informing decisions about allocation of health care resources at a population-level. The primary objective of this course is to introduce students to basic concepts cost-effectiveness studies. The course also covers a number of related tools such as decision analysis modeling and sensitivity analysis. Students will learn theoretical justifications for these tools as well as their limitations. After the completion of this course, a student will be expected to be able to read, comprehend, and perform a basic critique of cost-effectiveness papers and take part in discussions of planned cost-effectiveness research.
