Description
Field Practicum applies theoretical knowledge and models of social work to agency practice with diverse populations at risk. Students apply generalist perspective to develop ethically competent practice in micro, mezzo, and macro areas of social work under the supervision of an approved clinical instructor. Students gain skills in maintaining working relationships, developing multi-dimensional assessment, utilizing a lifespan perspective, differentially applying intervention strategies taking into account the unique attributes of each client system, and conduction appropriate evaluations of practice interventions.
