Description
Introduction to the philosophy and need for preventive dentistry by developing the student's concepts of self-motivation; knowledge of dental diseases and abnormalities; application of the principles of fluoridation and patient motivation. The student will develop skills for effective oral hygiene with reference of disclosing agents, toothbrushing, flossing, oral physiotherapy aids, and topical fluorides.
