Description
A range of educational philosophers in the world have come to focus their attention upon discussing the patterns of relationships that develop amongst students and teachers, and this may be a promising alternative to pedagogical visions which focus upon characterizing the learner and the teacher. We will survey contemporary educational philosophers which offer ontological, ethical, and political depictions of both educative and toxic educational relationships, and we will also discuss some of the phenomenological and post-structural philosophies which inform these works in educational philosophy.
