Prerequisites: Genetic Counseling Student OR Instructor Consent.
Description
This course will focus on the practical application of critical information that is presented in the Clinical Genetics Across the Lifespan course. Students will participate in class discussions, case review, presentations, and other activities to support critical thinking and application of clinical genetics concepts. Genetic counseling skills will also be emphasized throughout the course. Pre-recorded lectures may be included in this course, as well invited speakers or families, to give more depth of knowledge regarding the lived experiences of individuals with genetic conditions.
