Description
This online course provides an in-depth review of the science and application of strength and conditioning with a specific focus on the competencies associated with the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential. Students will receive instruction on the following: human physiology, biomechanics, adaptations to aerobic and anaerobic training, exercise testing and administration, exercise programming, periodization, proper warm-up and cool-down protocols, facility policy, facility design and advanced training protocols for a variety of sports.
